Accounting Manager - Commercial Construction

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in construction accounting to lead day-to-day financial operations. This individual will work closely with the CFO and project teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective cost tracking, and compliance with GAAP.
What You'll Do
Oversee job cost tracking and financial reporting for multiple construction projects
Manage the general ledger and lead monthly close and reconciliations
Coordinate with the CFO on financial statements, audits, and year-end close
File monthly, quarterly, and annual tax documents (sales, use, business licenses)
Process non-job costed payables and assist with payroll as needed
Support budgeting efforts and improve financial systems and internal controls
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and project success
What We're Looking For
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or architecture
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with Sage 300, GCPay, or comparable construction accounting software
Strong grasp of % complete, revenue recognition, and WIP reporting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments
U.S. work authorization required
