We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our Texas-based team. This candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel related to Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, conducting research for clients, attending any court hearings, and offering guidance and support to individuals throughout the process.

Qualifications
-Juris Doctor
-Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
-Must be admitted to practice in the Western District of Texas
-2+ years of experience in bankruptcy law is preferred
-Ability to attend court hearings and travel as needed
-Understanding of the legal procedures in Texas
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency in filing petitions in Texas bankruptcy courts
-Knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and relevant local rules
-Dedicated to providing clients with superior service
-Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
Responsibilities
-Onboard new bankruptcy cases
-Meet with and sign prospective clients
-Attend hearings
-Advise clients on the options available to them through bankruptcy
-Independently manage cases from filing through discharge
-Stay informed of developments in bankruptcy law
-Request/approve drafts of petitions, pleadings, and motions
-Respond to client questions via phone and email
-Manage legal assistant's tasks
-Performs other related duties as assigned
