Job Title: Director of Business Development - R&D Credits (this can be a Manager level role if your experience reflects that)

Job Location: HYBRID in Downtown Los Angeles (2-3 days onsite)

Salary: 70k-100k Base + Commission (OTE 150k-400k DOE)

Position Overview

We are a firm that specializes in optimizing tax incentives for our clients across multiple industries and are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Director to lead our R&D Credits sales efforts. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth through the promotion of our R&D tax credit services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue potential R&D tax credit clients
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within target industries
Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing account management
Stay current on industry trends and changes to tax incentive legislation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
Strong knowledge of R&D tax credits and other tax incentives / experience selling R&D credits
Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
