Construction Project Manager (Commercial)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of commercial construction projects
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation, and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report and escalate to management as needed
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Oversee the construction site and manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure alignment and satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
Experience with commercial construction projects, including retail and restaurant
Ability to prepare and interpret project estimates, budgets, and schedules
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Familiarity with project management software and tools
Certifications such as PMP or similar are a plus
