Position Overview: The Controls System Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our company's manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in PLC programming, Controls Systems, and HMI development. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for our manufacturing processes, including PLC programming and HMI development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems to ensure uninterrupted operation of production equipment
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Create and maintain technical documentation for control systems
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in controls technology to identify opportunities for improvement
- Train and mentor team members on control system operations and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in control system engineering
- Strong skills in PLC programming, Controls Systems, and HMI development
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems
- Knowledge of various programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to control systems
- Experience with project management and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
