Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $90k - $120k/year Base Salary
Founded in 1996, we are a self-performing electrical engineering firm providing complete electrical system designs that include power and lighting, low voltage, medium voltage distribution, utility coordination, infrastructure, LEED, onsite surveys of existing systems, onsite inspections, feasibility studies, energy audits, plan reviews, construction administration, cost estimating, electrical system load, coordination and fault studies, emergency power systems, site planning, special use permit and arc flash analysis
We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to provide designing of lighting and power systems for vertical and horizontal projects including: tarnsportation, airport, healthcare, higher education, sports facilities/parks, K-12, and/or civil projects.
1) Electrical design of lighting and power systems for vertical and horizontal projects
2) Performs electrical calculations using engineering formulas and software
3) Prepares point by point lighting calculations and energy code compliance calculations
4) Prepares project specifications
5) Researches code requirements for projects
6) Maintains project schedule and is responsible for on time deliverables to clients
7) Active participation in project meetings
8) Provides internal QA/QC
9) Provides input and guidance on company processes and standards
10) Provides quality service to clients
1) 7+ years experience as electrical engineer/designer
2) Experience in design of lighting and power systems
3) Possess an upbeat attitude and professional appearance and ability to articulate strategies in a clear, concise and decisive manner
4) Excellent interpersonal skills with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers.
5) In depth knowledge of National Electrical Code
6) Experienced with Revit, AutoCAD and AGI-32. Civil 3D and MicroStation also a plus
7) Skilled with all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
