Job Summary: The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring that all estimates are comprehensive and aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
• Identify and quantify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
• Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost analysis and reporting.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating or a similar role.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, or similar).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
