Position Overview
We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various educational facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational construction (schools, public works, etc.), is a critical thinker, doesn't mind challenges, and wants to grow in their career.

No estimating experience? No problem! If you have experience with building educational facilities and have a desire to become an estimator we will provide you with the training needed to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Evaluate subcontractor quotes and identify discrepancies or omissions.
Collaborate with project managers and design teams to gather relevant information for accurate estimates.
Prepare and submit bids for projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Track and manage project costs throughout the construction process to ensure budget adherence.
Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines related to cost estimation.
Participate in bid meetings and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience working on large scale educational projects (schools, colleges, public works, etc.) is a must.
Estimator experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Ability to work in a team setting.
