Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess conditions that may affect project costs.
Maintain a database of cost information and update it regularly to reflect current market conditions.
Prepare and submit bid proposals for projects, including detailed breakdowns of estimated costs.
Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Estimator for Sitework
Experience in some combination of Site Clearing, Sitework, Demolition, Erosion Control, Excavation, Site Utilities, and/or Deep Foundation. (Other related experience will be considered)
Strong understanding of estimating principles and practices.
Proficient in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
