Field Service Engineer

Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer support. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure equipment at customer locations according to specifications
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers in a timely manner
Perform diagnostics and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
Calibrate equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance with safety standards
Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed
Collaborate with the customer support team to enhance customer satisfaction
Adhere to safety practices and protocols while on-site at customer facilities
Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in field service engineering or a similar role
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with equipment installation and maintenance
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers
Familiarity with safety practices and regulations
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
