Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for industrial and commercial boilers and equipment. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures our clients' equipment is functioning at its best, reducing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for commercial and industrial boilers and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.- Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the service team to schedule and prioritize service calls.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on service requests and gather feedback.
- Keep accurate records of service calls, including work performed and materials used.
- Conduct equipment inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably in the boiler industry.
- Solid knowledge of industrial and commercial boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work on-call and travel to various client sites.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
