Flooring Estimator - Flooring Experience Required

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Estimator to join our team. Job Summary:
The Flooring Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for flooring projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation. This role involves close coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure competitive and precise bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Use estimating software and tools to generate proposals and cost breakdowns.
• Present estimates to internal stakeholders for review and approval.
• Track actual project costs and update estimating models accordingly.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in flooring estimation for both commercial and residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., MeasureSquare) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with commercial flooring projects.
• Familiarity with project management processes and cost tracking.
