Tax Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong technical knowledge and experience in taxation and be able to work on complex issues with minimal supervision. The Tax Manager is responsible for providing tax advice to clients and colleagues, managing tax compliance and filing requirements, and providing project management support for tax-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tax planning, research, and advice regarding complex tax issues
Manage and review corporate, partnership, S-Corp and C-Corp tax returns
Develop and review strategies and solutions for minimizing tax liabilities
Advise on high net worth individual taxes
Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
Provide project management support for tax-related projects
Update management on new tax laws and regulations that may affect the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate and/or individual tax preparation and planning
Strong working knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
Generalist, HNW, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax experience
