Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team in Warren, OH. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards in our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Design and layout manufacturing facilities to optimize workflow and space utilization.
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and labor standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to implement process changes.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
