Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense and a strong understanding of the legal processes involved. This role requires proficiency in preparing medical summaries, handling non-party requests, and familiarity with billing practices and federal court procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of insurance defense cases.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Prepare comprehensive medical summaries and analyze medical records.
Manage non-party requests and coordinate responses.
Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
Assist with billing and timekeeping for legal services rendered.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense.
Strong knowledge of federal court procedures and legal terminology.
Experience with billing practices and time management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
