Based in Austin, TX, we have been producing the best chocolates for over a century. Being family owned, we take great pride in how we take care of our employees. We are in the food manufacturing space and are looking for a STRONG Maintenance Tech to join our great company. You will be able to have lots of autonomy and we are looking for someone who has experience with conveyor belts, manual machinery, and old equipment. Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance checks on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure longevity and efficiency of all machinery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing machinery.
Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues quickly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Conveyor Belts, Manual Machinery, and Old Equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with food processing equipment is a +
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work day shifts and flexibility for overtime as needed.
