NJ General Liability Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled NJ General Liability Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense and will be responsible for handling various liability cases, including premises and automobile liability. The attorney will represent clients in litigation, providing expert legal advice and developing effective defense strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a caseload of general liability cases
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings
Collaborate with clients and provide strategic legal advice
Negotiate settlements and manage client expectations
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends
Assist in the development of defense strategies for claims related to hospitality, trucking, and transportation

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the New Jersey Bar Association
Minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability or insurance defense
Strong knowledge of premises liability and automobile liability law
Proven track record in handling defense claims
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong negotiation skills and client management capabilities
