Position Title: Mechanical Drafter/Designer

Position Type: Direct Hire/Perm - Salaried with benefits

Position Location: ONSITE, working at Mt Olive, NJ area facility

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Structural Drafter/Designer to join our Engineering Team in a role where you will be creating detailed drawings and models for structural steel and mechanical systems for our customer needs/applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Structural Detailing, Mechanical Detailing, structural steel experience, and would prefer candidates with experience developing/designing Installation Drawings.

Qualified candidate should also be proficient in AutoCAD, and solid in 3D/Three-Dimensional CAD tools, ideally with experience with either Tekla, Revit, and Advanced Steel.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in drafting or design preferred.
All candidates need to have a background in the designing/detailing of mechanical systems, but priority consideration will be given to those with both experience with and an understanding of structural steel applications.
Minimum of 3, OR MORE, years of experience in Structural Detailing, Mechanical Detailing, Structural Steel Designs, and Installation Drawings.
Experience with 3D modeling and ability to create 3D models from 2D drawings using design tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, or Advanced Steel.
In addition to the ENGINEERING skill-set, we are looking for a good team player, someone what is detail oriented, a strong communicator due to the interaction with customers and inter-departmental team members, AND someone that can work both INDEPENDENTLY and ON A TEAM.
