Paralegal - Complaint/Court Orders

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to support our legal team in managing complaints and court orders. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, ensure compliance with court procedures, and effectively communicate with clients and court personnel. This role is essential in streamlining case management and supporting litigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of complaints and court orders
  • Manage court dates and maintain accurate calendaring
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates and requirements
  • Prepare legal documents and pleadings for filing
  • Gather evidence and ensure compliance with legal standards
  • Assist in the management of case files and documentation
  • Coordinate with attorneys on case strategy and litigation support
  • Handle correspondence related to court orders and filings
  • Track and manage the statute of limitations for cases
  • Support the firm in CMC management and scheduling hearings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies
  • Strong legal writing and document preparation skills
  • Proven experience in case management and litigation support
  • Familiarity with court filing procedures and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to gather and organize evidence efficiently
  • Experience in drafting pleadings and managing court orders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management tools
