We are a rapidly growing general contractor with over 40 years of history, a full backlog for 2+years focusing on public, commercial, institutional, industrial, and private projects. We self perform all things concrete in house and are looking to add another executive assistant/project coordinator to our pre-construction team. We believe in working together, combining our knowledge across the company to create a cohesive plan that then will be implemented successfully for our clients.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Preconstruction Executive Assistant to join our dynamic preconstruction team. This role is crucial in supporting the Chief Estimator, VP of Estimating, and the entire estimating department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, preferably within the construction industry, and will be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chief Estimator and VP of Estimating with daily administrative tasks
Set up and maintain project folders, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible
Prepare and manage bid documents, bid bonds, and insurance reviews
Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Track and follow up on project timelines and deliverables
Support the estimating team with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, project coordinator, bid coordinator, or similar role, in the construction industry
2+ Years assisting within estimating for a construction firm
