Job Title: Preconstruction Manager
Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Salary: $140k-$160k + Vehicle + Benefits + 401k Match, etc.
Requirements: 10+ Years' Experience in construction and involved in preconstruction/estimating on projects related to any of the following: Commercial, Education, Industrial, Multifamily, etc.

This is a full time/ permanent position with a 200-person general contractor with a wide range of ground-up projects across Commercial, Industrial, Education, Multifamily, etc. We are well established with consistent work and a backlog of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Preconstruction efforts through planning and execution
Build relationships with the client, architects, and engineers
Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans and budgets
Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and provide value engineering solutions
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate contracts
Create and maintain project schedules and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, budgets, and potential risks
Assess Risk and potential challenges during the preconstruction phase

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience related to preconstruction/estimating
Projects related Commercial, Industrial, Multifamily, etc.
Ground-up Projects
Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
