Roofing Superintendent

Position Overview
The Roofing Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in commercial and industrial roofing, as well as expertise in waterproofing and low slope applications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise roofing crews and subcontractors on job sites to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers to schedule work and allocate resources effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of roofing projects to monitor progress and quality.
Manage project budgets and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time.
Provide training and guidance to crew members on best practices and safety protocols.
Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any project-related issues or concerns.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems, including low slope, waterproofing, and sheet metal roofing.
Familiarity with government regulations and compliance in construction.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
