Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities:
Manage the year-end and month-end closure procedures, making sure they are accurate and completed on schedule. In order to offer financial business insights and possible areas for development to support decision-making processes, conduct monthly performance financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments.
Oversee the creation of the worldwide organization's consolidated financial statements, making sure that reporting guidelines and accounting principles are followed with precision.
Manage the financial operations of several entities (in various currencies), making sure that all legal requirements are met and that accuracy, integrity, and compliance are maintained.
Work together with overseas subsidiaries and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and accuracy to meet evolving business needs, find opportunities for process automation, and streamline financial operations.
Lead annual engagement and tax filing with an outside accountant, as well as oversee annual review and tax compliance operations and help prepare tax filings and related documents.
Create financial documentation and internal management reports.
Complete the required monthly analysis and reconciliation (Balance Sheet, P&L). Use a variety of technologies and data sources to investigate balance sheet items and income/expense variations.
Support the tracking and management of manufacturing costs, which include labor, raw materials, and overhead. Find ways to cut costs, then collaborate with cross-functional teams to put those ideas into practice.
Support the implementation of inventory control procedures to guarantee inventory valuation accuracy.
Monitor the status and expenses of capital requests, and account for and reconcile Depreciation and fixed assets.
Take part in the creation and execution of financial systems that uphold accounting principles to improve productivity and efficacy while guaranteeing uniformity and compliance among various organizations.
Ensure that modifications to industry best practices, laws, and accounting standards are incorporated into international financial operations by keeping abreast of these developments.
Assist in overseeing regulatory compliance; enhance and preserve efficient internal financial control and risk management practices to protect business assets.
When it comes to departmental efficiency and improvement, play a key role in the implementation of new financial reporting software, such as ERP, CPM, and business intelligence tools or upgrades.
Work together with finance teams and stakeholders in many areas to promote best practices, knowledge exchange, and uniform financial procedures.
Assist with programs and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant and recent experience closing books and creating consolidated financial statements in a large, international company.
Experience with financial reporting and public accounting (assurance services) combined is preferred.
Prior consolidation experience is necessary.
Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in cost accounting, is highly desired.
Proven application of intricate accounting concepts, as well as the capacity to investigate and draw well-informed opinions on complex accounting matters.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
CPA preferred
