Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer
Job Location: hybrid, with onsite in New York city
Job Salary: Up to $180k DOE + 100% paid medical + equity

What You Will Be Doing

Design, develop and maintain the firmware for our implant, wireless, and data acquisition units
Work with applications that are size-constrained and that operate at low power
Translate models developed by our data science team into embedded code
Create test specifications, test protocols and complete continuous laboratory testing and debugging

What You Need for this Position

4+ Years of firmware development for embedded systems, in addition to:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical or similar
Proficient in C++ and Python
Microcontrollers
Hardware-software interface design and communication protocols
Familiarity with system verification and debugging techniques

Bonus Points if you have experience with any of the following:

Medical Device industry
Start ups
AI/ML
FPGAs
VHDL/HDL
