Structural CAD Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural CAD Technician to join our engineering team. The primary objective of this position is to create and modify detailed design drawings and plans for various structural projects while collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed CAD drawings for structural components and systems according to project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop design concepts and refine project deliverables.
Review and modify existing drawings to ensure compliance with updated regulations and project requirements.
Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions regarding design and construction issues.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a CAD Technician, preferably in structural engineering or construction.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
Strong understanding of structural design principles and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
