Sr. Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
The Sr. Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and building regulations. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with specifications and codes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors and vendors on job sites.
Develop and manage project schedules using tools like Procore and MS Project.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and public health standards.
Review and interpret plans and specifications to ensure quality control.
Manage project budgets and perform regular cost analysis and forecasting.
Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.
Handle requests for information (RFIs) and submittals effectively and in a timely manner.
Lead crisis management efforts on job sites to resolve any issues that arise promptly.
Provide team leadership and mentorship to junior construction staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in high-rise or multi-family residential projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
Excellent leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams.
Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in construction projects.
