Position Title: Lead Systems Engineer - Innovator in MBSE and DoD Projects

Department/Location: Programs/Oklahoma City, OK

Status: Regular/Full-Time (Exempt)

Are you a Systems Engineer with a passion for innovation and excellence? We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and Department of Defense (DoD) projects. Join our team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing cutting-edge systems that meet stringent requirements and deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Utilize MBSE methodologies to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
  2. Requirements Management: Develop, document, and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and compliance with DoD standards.
  3. System Design and Integration: Lead the design and integration of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
  4. Verification and Validation: Create and execute comprehensive test plans to verify and validate system performance against requirements.
  5. Technical Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to DoD regulations and standards.
  8. Communication: Communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  9. Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.

Work Conditions:

Enjoy a dynamic office environment with occasional travel to various locations where specific PPE or attire may be required.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on MBSE, requirements management, and DoD projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler), requirements management, and systems engineering methodologies.
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience with DoD acquisition processes and lifecycle management.
  • Tools: Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools, and experience with Agile development methodologies.
