Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients, ensuring all tax-related activities are executed efficiently and accurately. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax advice to both individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations that may impact clients' tax positions.
Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff and assist in their professional development.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding tax-related inquiries and issues.
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide solutions based on findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in public accounting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.
