Tax Senior

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our clients' tax compliance and advisory needs, ensuring that all tax obligations are met accurately and timely. The Tax Senior will also provide mentorship to junior staff and assist in the development of tax strategies for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Research and analyze tax issues and develop practical solutions for clients.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and communicate changes to clients and team members.
Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Assist in the management of multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of services.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; Masters degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
CPA certification is highly preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
Experience as a Tax Manager or in a senior tax role is a plus.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
