We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring that all machinery and systems are in optimal working condition. You will lead a team of technicians, prioritize maintenance tasks, and provide support for production operations. The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting skills and a strong leadership presence.
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Perform complex repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Lead and coordinate emergency repairs and breakdown resolutions to maintain production timelines.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machinery performance and address any operational issues.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and operational procedures.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance practices, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required.
5+ years of experience in maintenance, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Fluid Power education/certifications highly preferred
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
